    Update: MAMFT Annual Conference 2026 In-Person Only + New Virtual CE Opportunities

    We’re excited to announce that this year’s 2026 Systemic Family Therapy Conference will be held in person only at Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, MS. After thoughtful consideration and feedback from past attendees, we’ve decided to focus on providing the best possible in-person and virtual experiences which we believe will be best executed separately. 

    For those who prefer virtual learning, don’t worry — we’ll be offering the following online continuing education opportunities throughout 2026 so you can continue earning CE credits at your convenience. Workshops will be $60 each and you can register for the online workshops at www.mamft.com/eventsMore online workshops may be added throughout the year. 

    • Black Youth Suicidality presented by Leslie A. Anderson, Ph.D., LMFT, CFLEP on Friday, March 6, 1-3pm
    • Financial Family Therapy presented by Nathan Astle, LMFT, Certified Financial Therapist on Friday, April 10, 1-3pm 
    • Trauma Induced Sexual Addiction presented by Matt Wenger on Tuesday, May 19, 2-4pm
    • Working with Queer/Trans Clients presented by Dr. Katie Morris, LMFT on Wednesday, June 3, 1pm-3pm

    Continuing Education (CE) Hours: By attending the MAMFT Conference every year, LMFTs can obtain all the CE hours necessary for license renewal! The Mississippi Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) has been approved by the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists (MSBOE) and the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. The 2026 conference will offer 14 CE hours.

    Cancellations/Substitutions: Full refunds of conference fees, less a $15 processing fee, will be granted if request for cancellation is made prior to January 30, 2026. After that date, no refunds will be given. However, substitutions are permitted and encouraged. To authorize a substitution, notify MAMFT Executive Director, Britney Mangum, by email at executivedirector@mamft.com prior to the conference date.
